Job summary
As IT Security Consultant you are closely involved in various customer projects. You meet with clients, analyse and assess their network environment and their security approach. You scope new projects, you update and ping pong with the account managers and make a presales proposition to enhance the security setup and build a well secured network. Together with our architect you then design a tailor-made security solution which you implement, followed by documenting the network infrastructure and the implementation details.
You resolve technical incidents raised by the customer and escalate to our vendors if needed. In our lab you research all the ins and outs of our products and test new solutions. You participate in expert trainings and achieve the required certifications. You go to product presentations of our vendors and follow the technical trends in the IT security landscape on events and seminars in Belgium and abroad. You perform customer technical product trainings.
Your profile
- You have strong experience in networking and security.
- You have operational experience with at least 1 of our firewall solutions (Check Point / Palo Alto).
- You have a good knowledge of switching, routing and wireless solutions.
- You are analytical and can easily assess a situation.
- You get a kick out of technology and are eager to upgrade your knowledge on the leading industry products as well as share it with your tech buddies and customers.
- You have good communication skills in Dutch, English and French.
